An ongoing photography project based in the mountains of northern Laos.

Over several years, I have returned to the same villages, getting to know the people who live there and being welcomed back with a kindness that has shaped both the project and myself.

The purpose of this work is not to explain these communities or tell their stories for them. Instead, it is an invitation to spend time in a world that I was fortunate enough to be welcomed into. Through moments of everyday life, my hope is simply that these photographs help others feel, even for a moment, what it is like to be there.
